  • More and New Entrepreneurship Courses...

Due to the success of the Entrepreneurial Organizations courses in Winter and Spring 2012, we are planning to offer a new course in entrepreneurship for the Fall of 2012. It is not yet 100%, but we wanted to mention this possibility here before you leave town and/or start planning for the fall quarter.

The course will be uniquely constructed of three mini-seminars. Each mini-seminar will last three weeks and focus on a key topic of entrepreneurship. Each mini-seminar will include two on-campus lectures followed, in the third week, with an extended session in the Silicon Valley with industry experts. The expert sessions will include presentations by the experts, followed by formal Q&A, followed by opportunities for informal discussions with the experts, colleagues and other attendees. This is a 2 unit course that will be graded on attendance and participation.

Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend. Please stay tuned and look for updates in the usual places. These include http://users.soe.ucsc.edu/~gideon/  where we will post updates and/or links to updates in the near future. You will also find contact information there.
